NiSi Athena is a range of 8x full frame ultra-fast cine primes from 14mm to 135mm. These lenses have disrupted the price point of premium cine primes, outperforming a lot of competitors that cost 3-4x times as much.
The design, weight, and balance of the Athena lenses are consistent (excluding 135mm), making them ideal for rigging and stabilization. These lenses are exceptionally sharp, even when wide open, without sacrificing color or contrast. With a basic construction, they produce clean flare and a pleasing aesthetic, while a natural bloom provides the freedom to shoot into light. These lenses exhibit minimal distortion, chromatic aberration, and focus breathing. The 16-blade iris allows for round bokeh at all focal lengths from 14mm to 135mm, resulting in stunning subject isolation.
